چکیده

A new method is presented for evaluating the performance of a nonlinear control allocation system within linear loop. To that end, worst-case gain analysis problem formulated can be readily solved by means well-established methods from robustness using integral quadratic constraints (IQCs). It exploits fact systems are in general memoryless mappings bounded IQCs. data-driven approach used to find an optimal bound input/output mapping allocation. Additionally, iterative procedure based on local IQCs introduced determine meaningful sampling limits less conservative yet accurate results. The effectiveness proposed shown at example actively controlled flexible wing wind tunnel.

Robust Linear Quadratic Control of Systems with Integral Quadratic Constraints

In this paper, we consider the robust linear quadratic (LQ) control problem for a class of uncertain linear systems which are subject to a general type of integral quadratic constraints (IQCs). Both analysis and synthesis problems are considered in this paper. For the analysis problem, we determine if the system satisses a desired linear quadratic performance index for all admissible uncertaint...

Distributed Control with Integral Quadratic Constraints

In this paper, stability conditions for distributed control problems are derived under general integral quadratic constraints to achieve quadratic performance. These results take the form of coupled LMIs, and the multipliers are specified by the underlying integral quadratic constraints to model interconnections between the subsystems. It is further shown that these stability results can be exp...

Linear-quadratic Optimal Control with Integral Quadratic Constraints

We derive closed-form solutions for the linear-quadratic (LQ) optimal control problem subject to integral quadratic constraints. The optimal control is a non-linear function of the current state and the initial state. Furthermore, the optimal control is easily calculated by solving an unconstrained LQ control problem together with an optimal parameter selection problem. Gradient formulae for th...

Exponential Stability Analysis via Integral Quadratic Constraints

The theory of integral quadratic constraints (IQCs) allows verification of stability and gain-bound properties of systems containing nonlinear or uncertain elements. Gain bounds often imply exponential stability, but it can be challenging to compute useful numerical bounds on the exponential decay rate. This work presents a generalization of the classical IQC results of Megretski and Rantzer [1...

System Analysis via Integral Quadratic Constraints

This paper introduces a unified approach to robustness analysis with respect to nonlinearities, time variations, and uncertain parameters. From an original idea by Yakubovich, the approach has been developed under a combination of influences from the Western and Russian traditions of control theory. It is shown how a complex system can be described, using integral quadratic constraints (IQC’s) ...
